FamilySearch & Ancestry Partnership

There have been mixed reactions to the announcement about the FamilySearch and Ancestry Partnership. (See 1 Billion Records to be Digitised posted 10 September 2103). In response to the negative feedback, FamilySeach has tried to answer the most frequently asked questions, such as ‘How does the family history community benefit?’ and ‘Will people have to pay to see records indexed by FamilySearch volunteers?’.
